Welcome to Stymied, the card game of bureaucracy!
Most days, you spend hours filling out forms, training, working on funding issues, preparing for inspections and going to superfluous meetings. You must study the regulations and try to stay in compliance, or suffer the consequences by getting caught in non-compliance.
This is the basis for the Stymied card game! With short-lived goals, coworkers stealing your resources, policy changes, inspections, and waste-of-time meetings, Stymied is a humorous and often realistic look into bureaucratic work. Do you have what it takes to fight upstream and achieve the goal? Or will you become a policy wonk, forgetting about the goal and making sure everyone in the game is compliant with policy?
Stymied! is for 2-6 players. Government and corporate employees may find this game to be a good stress-relief as you mull over the humor in each card and realize how ridiculous things can get!
